The idea for this newsletter came about a few months ago when a client of mine asked me for some advice.

He’s the CEO of a fast-growing business in the UK.

For years he had struggled to balance

his health over the demands of his business.

He’s a complete newbie to the world of health/fitness/biohacking…

…so I wanted to distill the easiest & most impactful stuff for him.

One of my core principles is the 80/20 Rule - the law of the vital few.

It states that 20% of your effort delivers 80% of the result.

Once you recognise this rule you’ll start to see it everywhere…

  • 20% of clients require 80% of effort.

  • 20% of your friends drive 80% of the gossip.

  • 20% of your customers drive 80% of your revenue.

  • 20% of your Facebook ads drive 80% of your results.

  • 20% of your team are responsible for 80% of your output.

Applying the 80/20 rule to health and productivity means massive gains with minimal input.

t's about working smarter to enrich both life and business.

These four fundamental pillars are the bedrock of your health, energy, & productivity.

It’s critical to get these sorted first.

They are the 20% that will drive 80% of your vitality.

Foundation #1: Sleep 😴

This is one for a reason.

There is no single thing that will have a bigger impact on your health, energy, and productivity than sleep.

A lot of Entrepreneurs trade hours of sleep for late-night work and wear it with a badge of honour.

Whilst I totally respect the ‘grind’…

…this is not a good trade.

Literally everything about you gets better when you have enough sleep…

  • Better mood

  • Healthier skin

  • Enhanced libido

  • Quicker reaction

  • Sharper judgment

  • Weight management

  • Lower risk of disease

  • Reduced stress levels

  • Improved coordination

  • Increased performance

  • Healthier relationships

  • Cognitive improvements

  • Balanced hormone levels

  • Stronger immune system

It’s an important mental shift when you begin to see sleep as the most powerful tool you have for improving YOU… and not as a chore.

As only then will you begin to prioritise it.

How to Sleep like a Champion

My sleep used to be terrible.

I know because I used to track it.

Yikes…

So I went on a long journey to discover the simple actions that would get me to this almost every night…👇

Here’s what worked…

  • Limiting blue light before sleep

  • Sleeping at the same time every night

  • Using an eye-mask or black out blinds

  • 7-8 hours, every night. Non-negotiable

  • Keeping a window open for oxygen flow

  • Using nose-strips to increase breathing

  • Supplementing with Glycine & Magnesium

  • Making sure the room is a cool temperature

  • I use an Eight Sleep Mattress & recommend it
